Project Overview
Zeply embarked on a mission to create an exchange platform that transcends traditional financial boundaries, facilitating effortless transitions between fiat and crypto currencies. The project was envisioned to be a game-changer in the digital currency space, offering users the ability to buy, sell, and spend cryptocurrency with ease.
The development of the Zeply app was an ambitious endeavour, undertaken by Zeply’s internal team with a clear vision. The primary challenge was to design an application that was not only cost-effective and visually appealing but also capable of being white-labelled, thus presenting design and usability constraints.
The Brief
The brief for the project was to develop a user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) that would redefine standards within the crypto exchange domain. The team aimed to refine the existing logo and create a user interface that would minimise the workload for developers while maintaining the flexibility for white labelling.
A significant emphasis was placed on the aesthetics of the app, with the introduction of animations to visualise actions and prompt users effectively. These animations extended to verification codes and other interactive elements within the app, enhancing user engagement and comprehension.
The project management cycle began at the end of 2022, with the initial release followed by a second, and subsequent releases still underway. The project has been marked by rapid development cycles, with tight timelines necessitating a responsive and adaptive approach.

The collaboration between our UI & UX magicians, and the fabulous team at Zeply resulted in a brand new, game-changing app that ticked all the boxes! We are thrilled to have been entrusted with such a project and are currently looking forward to (and working on) the next release.
